The second in a series of six. The series' are pictoral concepts of select liberties or freedoms as outlined in the Amendments to the American Constitution. This one is freedom of worship... of course. Each piece has alot to it, and they all work in conjunction as a series. When looking, consider where the cross is in relation to the religious figurhead, the style differences in the bottom characters and the top one. Why the cross isn't perfectly symetric, and decidedly 2-D. All that technical crap that I stress over. I'm interested to see what interpretations this series will bring.
There are 4 more that I should post shortly and a large one with all six together. I'll post details of each piece if people want to see them.
Uhm. Why would freedom of worship be menacing (as noted by another commenter)?
Good pic, tho.

"they made your kind, though I suspect they would say that God made your kindred, they only amplified what was already there." Techno, Book 3 (anthro): [link]
Superbly detailed and designed. I love the balance and contrast. Excellent poses and expressions. The figures are creatively rendered. Provocative and stunning imagery.

WHOA !! I soooo fucking like this piece. Beautiful style and extremely well executed. And the message...? The priest obviously taking great pleasure in his elevation above the down-trodden (in his opinion) masses, who are mindlessly (in my opinion!) clambering for spiritual salvation, that which he has the power to grant or deny. That's the way i see it mate. And i fucking love it. definite fav !!! i'll be keeping an eye on you !!

"Something here smells fishy, and I'm not talking about the contents of Baldrick's apple crumble." - Captain Edmund Blackadder.
Thank's man, that means alot. I'll be posting more of the series right about... now. Also, if you really like it, I could use some exposure to help with the movement I'm starting, so if you wanted to suggest this for a Daily Deviation - that would be great. Thanks for all the favs. It keeps me doing what I do.
Also, with the cross, I tried to put it in the area where the priest's penis would be. Great comment - hit it on the head.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
